This is a really good yet an informative video. People when creating a bug out bag they tend to take a larger tactical packpacks for storage and out standing views. When reality of bugging out is to staying prepared yet being normal. Backpack storage may be limited, although strenghthening your knowledge in survival is a must. Having a miminal gear is challenging but after all there is only that one option as well.

wow a real bug out bag, it feels so strange to watch a actual expert and not a person trying to sell fifty knives and hundred of dollars of survival gear that may or may not work, thanks for your video

You are not a survival expert unless you have indeed, survived. Only in that situation will you know what you really need. Then you can add extras.

Have you thought about meds? As in prescriptions you need these every day medications. Do you have a month/script extra? Can you skimp and save up a few pills each week or month and set them aside? You older people need to stock up on this stuff. You need to consider you or your parents/grandparents arthritis, BP, acid re-flux and other medical concerns.

Ask people who survived Katrina and super storm Sandy about their experience. My neighbor survived Sandy. He had six teenagers from other families living in his home for six months because their homes had been destroyed. The families had to split up to find shelter.

I love the idea of not being obvious with an old bag. Plus its cheap.

I must be blind cause I don't see a kilt, not that it matters to me. I just don't go by what so called experts tell me.. I may not survive with what I have in my emergency kit, but it's stuff that I think with 75 years of experience is GOOD ENOUGH.😮

"No one will steal your girl backpack"

I think a girl backpack would be stolen than the high tech backpack. People might think there's money in a womans backpack because they keep everything in there. And woman are easier to target since they are weak. No one would steal someone hiking backpack because its from a man and no one want to have consequences with a man.
P.s i think the girl bag would rip when something sharp pokes it

If everyone during Katrina had something like this, there would be hardly any deaths, other than those that forgot their medication, etc.

Everything looks pre- packaged and shrink wrapped. What about those of us who want to use what we have at home already??

Let us see you pack all of this yourself so we know how it fits in your “ little girl “ backpack 🎒

What about seniors that have different needs than say a 40 yo in good health...

Idk id be kinda suspicious of a guy in a kilt carrying a girls backpack lol. Maybe use a diaper genie? Ha or some kind of pet sanitation station. I know too cumbersome. But def food for thought!

Folding Knife? I would never carry a folding knife in a survival situation. It’s better than nothing but definitely not better than a fixed blade.

Only the chowder stays behind, clinging onto their bug out bags. To survive, you need a one way plane ticket out!

May I suggest a little reading material? A small copy of the New Testament. Really want to be prepared? Pray, seek Christ.  +++
