ARITHMETIC PROGRESSION and GEOMETRIC PROGRESSION

This video shows the difference between an Arithmetic progression and a Geometric Progression.

NOTE:
An Arithmetic progression has each successive term to be a sum (same difference).

A Geometric progression has each successive term to be a multiplication (common ration).

Please what if the differences are not common… for example 31, 29, 24, 22, 17… how do we find the next term please
