Apple Pay: Where Will it Work in the Real-World?

Uber does work with Apple Pay. You have to select that payment method though, so you don't have to put in your credit card.

My Apple Pay has been working very well but I'm scared to put a extremely thick case on it because I'm worried the nfc sensor won't be able to read the contactless system does anyone know if I can still use Apple Pay with a thick case

All of the merchants worked because these were the merchants that partnered with Apple in the first place when Apple announced it during the Sept. 2014 event. No brainer. This test is, in many ways, a failure.
