In india, my samsung pay carries all my ids which is unique within it

If you have to travel abroad so don't carry wallet or no note exchange only carry luggage and Samsung phone you will survive in abroad easily except north korea

in india, we have upi, so every payment app works with every other payment app, we also have government digi locker apps to access our documents anywhere

Here in Brazil every document has its digital version already, I can't remember the last time we used paper to id xD

This whole thing with ID/driver's license in your phone, at least some European countries are working on a solution for any and every smartphone. Also, here in my country, we have a digital ID (bank issued, which means we can use it to sign stuff digitally, like purchases, and log in to for example government agencies services like for our taxes or making appointments with doctors and whatnot), which recently got a feature to have something akin to a photo ID in the app (though said digital photo ID thing requires a national identity card or passport, as the photo ID feature requires you to scan the chip in the ID card or passport with your phone, as in with NFC, and not everyone has one of those ID cards or a passport. The reason why I think not everyone has one of those ID cards is because we can use our driver's licences as ID, and not everyone has a passport because they haven't needed one)

Also, sadge Samsung ditched MST, was pretty nifty, though it's understandable why they did as NFC enabled terminals grew more and more widespread. Annoying though that they literally disabled MST on phones that actually had the hardware for it. I had one such phone

The magnetic pay for Samsung didn’t really work that well in Australia every time we went to use it or me pacifically it would then tell me to insert the card and for some reason you couldn’t go into settings to turn it off and if you didn’t have the card well you’re screwedThat is why they got rid of it.

Actually, u can use your driver license with Google wallet, separate from samsung wallet

In india we have Samsung wallet and It holds everything what i have like Cards, UPI, all of my document's, Bills, Fastag(its for tolls gates on highway just way more convenient than cash takes like 1 sec stop that's it) Travel tickets (Train and Airplane), coupon, gift card, prepaid wallet, Digital keys and even my vaccination certificates its way better than Apple pay or etc

They took away the magnetic technology that made it convenient to use anywhere and lost me as a customer. I was an early adopter of Samsung pay andnjaed it for years until my new device no longer allowed me to truly pay anywhere like I could before. So that device lasted a week.
