I’m a senior and just switched over to an IPhone from an android for 20 years. I’m learning as quickly as I can how much better Apple is than Android. This will save me from having to carry a heavy purse. Thank you Apple.

Nice and simple explanation, thank you! I had some issues with Apple Pay at the beginning, it often took two or three tries until the payment worked. The simple reason for me: I didn't look at my phone while paying. When you use Apple Pay, Face ID expects you to look at the phone. My simple solution: 1. Double-click the right button. 2. Look at the phone until the screen says "Hold Near Reader". 3. Hold the top end of the phone near the contactless symbol on the reader. Now Apple Pay works a lot quicker and smoother for me.
