My grandfather was once kicked out of an all you can eat buffet cause they were losing a lot of money from him and his friend when they said “but it’s all you can eat”
The old Asian manager replied with “That all you can eat, get out!”

You forgot, the waitstaff isn’t there to constantly make you full off coke refills, they’re there to silently you judge you by the number of plates you make them take. This subconsciously makes you slow down

Pizza hut hasn't had buffets for like 8yrs. But good memories going to hut or gatties after a game

As a broke person, every time I go to a buffet it's like a chess game. Everything is strategy. I know exactly what to take to make sure I'm the one who benefits from it in the end.
And also if I can get a few things in a container, I'm definitely doing it. Might as well get my next meal...

I read a comment somewhere where a bunch of hungry firefighters would frequent an all-you-can-eat and when the owner offered them a steep discount, they tried to refuse because they didn't want to put the place out of business. But the owner said that despite how much they ate, it was still only a few dollars worth of food.

Golden Corral used to be my favorite place to eat as a kid. Whenever I got a good report card my parents would let me choose a restaurant to eat at and it was always Golden Corral

I'm not a particularly big guy at 170, but I am a big eater when I want to be so my buddy and I actually broke an AYCE Japanese restaurant. We went in one day at 25 bucks a plate and had so much sushi that the following week, the restaurant removed the AYCE deal from their menu. My buddy and I were so proud of our accomplishment
