Ughhh as someone who loves weird-shaped creatures I am both happy to see the reptiles are so well taken care of and sad to see the (invasive) mantis army fall. The Mantis gang will rise again.

I'm a big fan of mantids and a mantis keeper, but you did the right move. Chinese mantids are incredibly invasive.

My mantis just molted, and it’s now an adult, I had it since that size. I love geckos, but just can’t watch Kiwi’s cousins get eaten 💀

I have a few pet mantids, a single Chinese female who is huge as an adult but was this big when I got her! They make amazing pets, very social and demanding of uppies.

I knew it was a mantis egg, but only because I saw a video about people getting these on their christmas trees, thinking they were just pinecones or something, and then having them hatch into tons of praying mantises inside their house (since it was warm).
