5:24 Artec SE-OE3 Acoustic Outboard EQ
5:35 Behringer V-Tone Acoustic ADI21
5:47 Harley Benton Custom Line Acoustic Preamp
Artec has a parametric EQ for very little money (only one filter) but that should be a VERY good tool for any piezo case if used correctly (mostly it would be a pretty narrow cut performed ). The "Bass-Mid-Hi EQ" you most probably have on the mixing console or amp already.

Came to hear the Behringer mostly. I'm a little sad we didn't hear an acoustic instrument other than a steel string guitar but I understand that's what most viewers are interested in. I'm planning on using it to boost a piezo with no pre-amp on a classical acoustic and am aware of my others (e.g. violinists) who are interested in this.

I have the Behringer and I appreciated how great your guitar sounds using that one.

The bodyrez totally smashes the competition imo! 😀 Must order one, sounds great!

The Begringer ADI21 is an excellent copy of the Tech21 Sansamp Para DI an amazing option. I love mine, had it for over 20 years and still going strong.

I've had the bass version of that Behringer pedal for a very long time. Now using the Acoustic as well. The plastic case and button are really not a problem. I think you would have to really abuse it to break anything. It's so cheap, buy two and have a backup if you think you'd break it. I love that something so inexpensive works so well. I did put a little dot of silver paint on the knobs because in a stage situation it is hard to tell which way they are oriented otherwise.

Yes, I'd love to see and hear the non-budget versions with a comparison against the budget models. It's always nice to know what you're paying that non-budget price for.

ADI21 is analog, not digital. This is also why it sounds more 'warm'. the' BLEND' knob is a tube amp simulation...but dont go crazy with it; so anywhere from 12 o'clock onwards will give a tube-like tone to your instrument. If your piezo instrument sounds very bright, the 'BLEND' may also help tame the highs.

Is it weird that I only liked the two cheapest ones, Behringer and Artec
I don't have an USP, but a Shadow SH711 transducer installed permanently on the inside of a Jasmine (big spender lol). Find it more natural.
Glad to finally hear a German say 'Behringer', BTW. This video is gonna help me in my ever lasting argument with my British and Spanish friends. Thanks Kris

For as cheap as they are - buy 2 of the Behringer ADI21 pedals. Use one, keep the other as a backup (or for dueling acoustic jams). I just bought one, already have the bass pedal, as well as 2 of the guitar pedals (for my sound production business, if ever needed). The XLR out has speaker emulation, super easy to plug right into a PA system. :)

Good video. Straight to the point and greatly structured with the different stages of the video and the comparison mostly. More like this!

Really great comparison and a nice clear and concise video. Great job. My favorite out of this is the Behringer, but saying that the Harley Benton has some other effects that none of these has, so I will have to check a video on that unit to see how these effects compliment that pedal

Thank you for this comparison...I was actually considering an AD121 and this convinced me to go in that direction....being a solo act, I am not as concerned about being too harsh on the pedal, and thanks to Clifton's response/experience with that pedal, that pushed me the rest of the way.

A fine presentation! Thank you for using a guitar that is like the one most of us would be using (i.e. not a super expensive guitar). The Yamaha sounds great! The sequence, timing, cinematography (pedals pictured on the side while using) are all excellent. The idea of sounding great on a budget is also appreciated. y favs are the AD21 and the HB, though I didn't dislike the others. Cheers!

Try the NUX Optima Air, beats all of these pedals, no doubt, though the XVive is not that bad! IR, affordable and it was already around when this clip was made....

For me the body rez from tc was the best! I recommend it!

The berenger and HB are the only two to properly hide that brittle piezo pickup sound and actually sound miced. The other three seem like they'd sound good if your pickups sounded good too.

My behringer has lasted 7 yrs. I use passive piezo pickups. Classical or steel. Tough!
BTW... Excellent video
