Nice walkthrough - I was pleasantly surprised, even if a bit sceptical about the texture repetition given that there is only 1 flame texture - maybe switching between 2-3 would help a lot?
Also, I'm curious why you didn't choose to make the flame material "Unlit"? That would save a lot of computation, and makes sense since it's an emission anyways.
