After booking more than 500 flights since 2012, I explain my best tips, tricks and strategies for finding cheap airfare in under 4 minutes.

I've been wanting to make this video for over a year now, but never got around to it because it's really tedious to make (and I wanted to have adequate footage of airplanes & airports)... I was finally convinced to make it after many of your comments on my last video, saying that flights are holding you back from traveling. I literally spent 10 hours today editing this one, so I hope you find it useful!

There are some exceptions to the "Don't Fly on a Holiday" rule. In the U.S., The day before Thanksgiving is one of (if not, the) busiest travel days of the year, but Thanksgiving day itself sees very little traffic, since most people spend that day with their families. Because of this, when I wanted to start my Christmas vacation in Europe last year, I found the best NYC➡️London deal to be on Thanksgiving day itself.

Thanks Drew!!! I just booked a round-trip ticket from Orlando to London! The closest airport to me is Tampa but Orlando was cheaper. Three flights two layovers one layover in Washington Dulles and a second layover in Frankfurt Germany.

Thank you so much for this video! I needed to book a flight from the Netherlands (Amsterdam) to Belarus (Minsk), the original price was €650 but i got it down to €450 with your tips which is a crazy amount of saved money haha

I thought I was pretty good at finding flights, but now I have seen this video and I see the difference. I am excited to try several one way flights for December. For example, I was looking at flight in my area to Miami, and then I realized it was about $90 cheaper each way to book to Fort Lauderdale which is only 30 minute North. Oh, and flights to San Francisco are expensive from here, but a one way flight to Vegas is way cheaper, direct, and I could add the flight to San Francisco for $30 from Vegas. Thank you so much Drew! I think I may be older than you, but I want to be like you when I grow up.
