In about 2005 you could still call to book a flight directly from the airport you wanted to fly from, there were actual people who's job it was to book flights via calls any time of day. I remember a nice person gave me the number for a cancelations only flights available. When I found out about that I felt like I had everything I needed to go anywhere I wanted, and save money while doing it. Now you're the nice person who his helping people get places for less, I thank you for this and wish you happy trails Bro!!

Helpful hints and Ive been traveling for 1.5 years, subscribed. A hint on using cheap airlines is to have only carry-on luggage because they charge an extra 100usd or so for checked luggage.
