In fact, China has proposed to put aside the issue of disputed sea areas and jointly develop marine resources. Over the past decade, cooperation between China and the Philippines has provided relief to the Philippine national economy.

Until the time of President Marcos Jr., because he had a lot of private assets in the United States. Therefore, this American is of course loyal to the United States, and the Philippines has become a weapon against China. Breaking the treaty damaged the credibility of the Philippines. Continuous provocations have worn away China's patience. Now, China has stopped smiling and the Philippines has begun to tremble.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING. A NINE DASH LINE IN WORLD HISTORY.

VIETNAM 🇻🇳

In Southeast Asia it was once called the Champa Sea or Sea of Cham, after the maritime kingdom of Champa (nowadays Central Vietnam), which flourished there before the sixteenth century.

CHINA 🇨🇳

Given that the existence of the Xia dynasty is debated, the Shang dynasty is sometimes seen as the first of the China's dynasties. The Shang rulers maintained control for around 600 years, and during this period of cultural and economic stability, Chinese culture and innovations flourished.

The Qing dynasty (English: /tʃɪŋ/ ching), officially the Great Qing, was a Manchu-led imperial dynasty of China (1636–1912) and the last imperial dynasty in Chinese history.

'people's country') were used as short forms of the official country name Zhonghua Minguo (Chinese: 中華民國; lit. 'Chinese people's state') in Chinese. Both "Beiyang government" (from 1912 to 1928), and "Nationalist government" (from 1928 to 1949) used the name "Republic of China" as their official name.

The Republic of China (ROC), which ruled Mainland China before 1949 and has been confined to Taiwan since 1949, also claims all of the Spratly Islands.

Beginning in 1952, the People's Republic of China (PRC) used a revised map with nine dashes, removing the two dashes in the Gulf of Tonkin.

PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭

The history of the Philippines can be divided into five distinct phases: Metal Age Philippines [ 500 BC-AD 1000]; The Porcelein Period ( c. 1000-1521); the Spanish period (1521-1898); the American period (1898-1946); and the post-independence period (1946-present).

Early History: The Philippine archipelago was settled at least 30, 000 years ago, when migrations from the Indonesian archipelago and elsewhere are believed to have occurred. Additional migrations took place over the next millennia.

Beginnings of the Archipelago (1)

Some 50 million years ago, the archipelago was formed by volcanic eruptions. About 30, 000 years ago the earliest inhabitants had arrived from the Asian mainland, perhaps over land bridges built during the ice ages.

The Philippines is named after King Philip II of Spain (1556-1598) and it was a Spanish colony for over 300 years. Today the Philippines is an archipelago of 7, 000 islands. However, it is believed that during the last ice age they were joined to mainland Asia by a land bridge, enabling human beings to walk from there.

UNCLOS

Five years ago, an Arbitral Tribunal constituted under the 1982 Law of the Sea Convention delivered a unanimous and enduring decision firmly rejecting the PRC's expansive South China Sea maritime claims as having no basis in international law.

It concluded that China breached the provisions of UNCLOS, in particular by (a) temporarily prohibiting fishing in areas of the South China Sea falling within the Philippines' EEZ, (b) failing to prevent Chinese vessels from fishing in the Philippines' EEZ at Mischief Reef and Second Thomas Shoal and (c) preventing ...

The Hague-based decision, constituted under the UNCLOS, ruled that the claim of historic rights to resources in areas falling within this invisible demarcation "had no basis in law and is without legal effect". It also upheld the Philippines' sovereign rights and jurisdiction in its exclusive economic zone.

Here is a thought. The philippine government had to figure this resupply mission would be harrased by china seeing the importance of the mission. And the philippines could have sent 1 or 2 much larger coast gaurd ships along to escort the smaller resupply ships.
By doing it with the smaller ships alone it sent a message to china. That message was "we are not affraid of you we will not be intimated by your presence" it also shows that china is affraid to take this to the next level.
:or me this just embassed the chinese goverment and its coast gaurds ability to stop 2 small resupply ships.
Next time china save face and dont try to intimadate the country that has legal clain to the area.
One day this will cause a accident and there will be very serious consquence that will bring down harrash sanction on your ecconomy by the world. Thats the biggest fear of yours. Ecconomic consquences would be a disastrous for china. Putin will not admit it but it has destroyed their ecconomy and will take years to recover.
Stop before its to late.
