This tutorial shows you have to build a Two PC 1080p/60 Streaming Setup, without needing a Capture Card using NDI from Newtek and OBS Studio or Streamlabs OBS.

If you can see NDI sources in SLOBS, but you get a black screen, make sure to whitelist Scan Converter/OBS Studio in your stream PC's firewall.

I'm glad found your videos about a month ago!

I just finished building a 4-computer multicast setup with the video going to a dedicated streaming/recording computer. Initially, I was using an HDMI multiplexer going to an Elgato HD60, with audio mixers. I have since returned all the HDMI and audio equipment and am now solely using OBS Studio, Voice Meeter Banana, NDI, and Powergrid. We are going to launch a family gaming channel in the next couple of weeks.

So far, I am not having any problems. I just wish Voice Meeter Banana allowed more than 5 channels.

Appreciate all your tutorials with Streamlabs OBS. I've watched quite a few of your videos to help me initially get started and sorted out over the past year. This NDI thing is a new one for me, but I definitely like the idea of operating from 2 different PC's, so I won't put so much demand on my primary. My issue I'm having is I'm literally doing everything you're saying as you say it in the video, but I hit a hiccup where my camera is plugged into my gaming pc, and isn't showing up on my streaming PC. I watched you do it just fine, and I'm having an issue with it.

i have selected system audio on my streaming pc and my gaming pc on scan converter,
but the sound from the gaming pc does not come on the stream / gaming pc

So I got the screen capture up and there almsot no latency, Thanks! but I'm having some issues I don't understand:
1) How do I get audio from my game and mic to my streaming PC? I have a Blue Yeti with headset connected straight into it.
2) How do I make NDI only capture the gameplay and not everything that's going on on my screen?

Would love some help on this!!

trying this setup, hopefully it works, i spent a fortune trying to get ndi to work within obs with no luck except Black screen, however I did get audio. I tried all the troubleshooting and everything with no luck on my laptops, which are both MSI gaming laptops. I have a gigabit connection network with a fast router and cat6 cables, but nothing has seemed to work so far. I am going to try this method and see if it works, out. Thanks for the tutorial either way, you explained very well!

Do i need a ethernet cable to connect the 2 PCs? or does a HDMI cable work as well

Does not work. I have another router in my network where the PC is connected but stereamlabs does not detect the PC source.

2 questions;

1. How much would NDI impact my internet while I'm streaming and playing online games?

2. How can I send both my microphone and system audio to the streaming pc without connecting the mic to the streaming pc? (I'm using a gaming headset)
