Very nice review, thank you. We had our new e-Niro delivered three weeks ago, and it's a perfect family car. In Norway, it's only sold with the long-range battery, and most people buy the fully spec version. Combining price, range, delivery time, equipment and warranty, it still outperforms any other EV in its class. We're just super satisfied.

I’ve bought one and it does what it claims. Fabulous range, comfortable, quick enough and costs very little to run.

At 4:46 you use both hands and a lot of muscle to tear open the lid covering the cupholders. Don't. The idea is to press the handle down a little bit, and then pull it backwards. It will slide open with ease.

Had mine for a year and it has been trouble free. I get what you say about the build quality, or at least some of the materials, but, after being loyal (madly) to the JLR brand for the past 15 years, this is the first new car I have owned that doesn’t have a single rattle. Also, unlike my JLR experience, I don’t know a single member of the service team as I have never needed to visit them. Liked it so much that I have also purchased a plug-in Sorento. Not quite as enamoured as with the e-Niro but it is growing on me. Thanks for the video.

After one year of ownership and 12000 trouble free miles, I think the car is still best in class. I charge overnight at cheap rate electric which equates to a running cost of just about 1 pence/mile.
That said, I have an EV6 on order, which I suspect will be even better.
Thanks for the review.

I've had Fiat Uno, Vauxhall Corsa, Skoda Fabia and a VW Golf. The E-Niro is the nicest of the lot. It is nippy when driving about town, it easily has a range of 280, and if you are lucky enough to live in certain areas of Scotland, Charge Place Scotland provide free
I've done about 7000 miles and spent less than £5.00 charging the car. I'm glad I got one.

Had my e niro since April 2019. it’s been fantastic. Not one problem. over 30000 miles so far. Here’s one thing to think about. You won’t get a second hand version of any of its competitors as they haven’t been out so long, but you may be able to pick up a second hand one of these now. So if you’re in the second hand market this may be perfect for you. Great quality second hand EVs with fantastic range are what the market is crying out for.

I bought an E Niro in January this year.

The main reasons were the excellent range and the 7 year warranty.

It is a superb car, I absolutely love it! The range is very accurate, I’m averaging around 5 miles per kW at the moment.

A good video . We have the 4 spec e Niro and absolutely love it the range is fantastic I see in the summer with carful driving 300 plus miles on a 100% charge. Considering the car has been out 3 years it’s still in my eyes holds it’s own with any of the current Ev’s around that price point. The only down side for me is one I had to wait 14 months to get it and 2 what do I eventually swap it for the obvious choice would be the EV6 but will cost more and less spec unless you buy the GT Line which will cost considerably more. The sad news is as I’m led to believe the next generation Niro will not include an Ev version. Some of the cars you list as alternatives cost more if you spec them to the level of our car.

ordered my E-Niro in 2019 delivered 9 months later. worth the wait. have had an issue with the ac - it made a noise at times - needed to be topped up and since worries - if it was an ice car wouldn't have heard it lol. I use the car in eco mode all of the time o rare occasion sports. don't regret buying the car or owning an ev. if you are unsure go for a test drive

Bought mine at 3 years old six months ago. Very satisfied with it - it's a pleasure to drive and very comfortable. As others have said, it's very cheap to run too (costs me just under £5 to charge with Octopus's special night time rate). 100% reliable.

OMG! I absolutely love my niro. I’ve had it 8 months and have done 13 million miles.
All the comments.

The biggest advantage that the e-Niro has over the rivals that you mentioned (Skoda, Peugeot, MG, ID3) is that it is available in Canada. None of those other cars are here.

Nice video. I actually get over 250 miles per charge in my 2022 e-Niro in the real world, with roughly 60% city and 40% highway or secondary roads.

The Diesel Hybrid Version is called D-e-Niro right?

I’ve had mine since April 2019. Trouble free and is a pleasure to drive for almost 50, 000 km. Best car I have ever had. I will admit though that the next car I get will be a Model Y.

Mines the Kia electric 4+ now had it for 6 months and it’s just brilliant, love it. Had the Hyundai Kona Electric before, it too was a great car, however the ride on the Nero is much better, if I had one small complaint it’s the regeneration, I’d have liked it to have been more aggressive in level 3.

Re quality. I am on my 4th e-niro and am in the Kia e-niro UK interest group on FB. Feedback on quality is good. In fact I feel the Peugeot is very plasticy and also claustrophobic compared to the niro. The rear leg room and comfort is infinitely better in the niro compared to most other EVs. The seven year warranty also gives piece of mind.

In what way is a dial with 3 settings quirky ? Had mine for two weeks... a great car when I ordered it 6 months ago and a great car now. There is nothing else out there are the moment that would change my mind.
