In This video we discuss How to quickly germinate and Grow Blueberries from Seeds of Blueberry. A very easy way to help them start growing. Do you want to learn more!?

Step 1 - Find some fresh or old blueberries, it doesn't much matter but you must do a pinch test to see if there are seeds inside them.

Step 2 - Once you have some good blueberries, make sure you place them in a cold area, like a fridge for 2 weeks.

Step 3 - now your blueberries are ready to germinate and start growing. So place them into small containers. Cut each blueberry in half first.

Step 4 - place them on top of soil in your container and then sprinkle a good layer of soil right on top of them. (half inch or so)

Step 5 - place the blueberry containers in a warm area with some sunlight or under a grow light. Blueberries can take up to 4 weeks to germinate.

Step 6 - after about 60 days your blueberries plants will be ready to transplant to your garden or a bigger growing container.

Caring for Blueberries -
Blueberry bushes like acidic soil. (4.5 ph) Place in a sunny location where the blueberries will have 8 hours of full sun. If you are planting more than one bush separate them by 3 feet apart.

Will blueberries that have been frozen (in the freezer) work the same?! Or is that too cold for cold stratification?! Thanks!!

Drainage holes in cups? Do you bottom water to avoid the seeds from being disturbed?

Ay blueberries like lower ph levels. More acidic soil. You said higher. Nah.

Thank you! I germinated apple and orange seeds in the fridge on moist paper towels in ziploc bags. They took about 3 weeks. These grew an inch in one week following your method. Love it.

Lower PH level between 4.5 and 5 on the Acidic side. Also some guys place their small pots in one gallon food storage bags to keep them from drying out to get the seeds started.

To improve the speed I guess the fruit meat around the seeds should be removed since it usually prevents seeds from waking up. These are possibly American blueberries (Vaccinium corymbosum) since they are big and have yellow meat, those that grow in northern Europe or at least Sweden are smaller and have red meat (Vaccinium myrtillus).

not higher pH but higher acidity is what they like, so lower pH. If you put some peatmoss in the substrate you can lower the pH

Can you upload a video guide on how to grow raspberries from seeds? I'm planning on planting raspberries and I'd like to know all the things to do.
