I tell you what, this past 24 hours has been like some bizarre dream. The milestones ticked off have been so inspiring and I really think this has immediately given all of us a nice bump of optimism in the Starship project. Getting Starship through entry mostly intact is something I dared not even hope too hard for. SpaceX once again blew my mind as they continue to do. I just couldn't wait another day to get these views out there, so I'm happy to be able to get this done for you 24 hours earlier than normal. Enjoy the weekend my friends. Soak it all in!

Elon: “The best part is no part.”

Flap: “Understood, boss!”

That lackluster Starliner coverage reminds how much SpaceX has spoiled us with their awesome coverage…

I was 14 years old when I saw the crew of Apollo 11 (1969) land on the Moon. Now I am 69 years old, and never in all that time have I seen such incredible footage. To see the rigours and dangers of spaceflight in real time, is amazing. To see all those young people in bursts of joy, made me feel good about the future of discoveries to come.

This was without a doubt the most metal rocket landing ever.

That re-entry burn live footage was absolutely phenomenal. Forget about sci-fi movies, IRL Re-entry live action is 100x the suspense!

Watching that launch last night was so nail biting, watching the flap start to disintegrate, then watching ship 29 keep going, then finally flip and splash down………what a complete range of emotions! Well covered sir, thankyou again for what you do.

At this point starship is fully finished rocket that can easily send the payload to orbit if we compare it to all the non reusable rockets. Only thing left is a reusability. It’s just mind blowing

Literally the best space commentator in the industry. Thanks Marcus! Literally no one else has mentioned the tower arms closing during the booster landing. Everyone else just losing their minds about the flap but not considering all of the amazing milestones that this launch completed.

So inspired by SpaceX’s quest. In the same way Star Trek inspired me as a child, SpaceX does the same as I enter my older age … Excellent work SpaceX.

One of the best parts of watching SpaceX do all of this is that it eliminates any of the excuses other companies used to constantly spout to explain why it took so long, etc…. This is completely new tech and it is being brought online faster than what any other company or government has ever been able to do!! And most people have zero idea how much this will change the world once it is finally perfected.

I got so excited when the flap hung in there. It was a ludicrously entertaining and emotional hour.

That booster soft landing is one hell of an achievement in just 4 flights. Gets me a lil choked up every time I see it.

"Thunderfoot" had a stream with his usual endless Elon bashing and pretty much had to eat all his words by the end, it was priceless.
