They were really going for the 80's vibe in this expansion. The whole soundtrack for the pack were mostly 80's classic and actually performed by the actual performers.

I'm amazed by how much this sounds like the Sims 3 menu theme! I only grew up with the base game, so this was a surprise. Btw, EA was offering the complete Sims 2 collection on Origin on the house. The code for that was I-LOVE-THE-SIMS, so I came across this while playing that.

I remember during exam season this year at uni (my first year), I decided to buy this expansion pack and install all the others I had to procrastinate. What I didn't have planned in mind was the recreation of 2 of my friends attacking each other, as well as one of those 2 friends coming to my store at home at 3am for flowers. Why does one need flowers at 3am!? But yeah, this song is awesome :D

Simss Golden Times... I had the best Childhood. Playing outside but still having time for sims 2. I remember showing my Houses to my classmates who were having a sleepover before we went out and played hide and seek in the dark woods/parks. I would never do that today.
