This best way is to pray for your neighbours and waiting for God's time and sentences, so that you may not be run into "method of man"...
Always praying will be a good habit to keep for life!!!!
God bless you all and brother John!

because Jesus Christ commanded us to preach the gospel. Matt. 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

Yeah, I'd agree. Either way, it's a person's own worldview, and I'd prefer it if people openly listened to each others' POVs and didn't shove it down each others' throats.

I definitely have considered that I may be entirely wrong and that there is no God, nor gods. There's still the doubt in the back of my mind that says maybe I'm wrong, but every time I've entertained those thoughts, I've found too much evidence for a God to be convinced otherwise.

Rom 10:14-17 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent?As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Rom 9:16-19 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, but on God, who has mercy. For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills. You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?”But who are you, O man, to answer back to God...Check out Eph 1:3-7...all works together

I think its generally better to do it relativly fast. Because the longer you put it off the longer it will bother you, but i also think you should wait till a good moment comes by or/and pray for one to come by.

Well prepared is important if you want to share the gospel, aka know the basics of biblical truth, e.g. Jesus' death. You should know what you talk about before you try to engage. If you have a witness that'd be great and i also think that might even have the greatest impact onto him.

What you don't want to happen - is that your neighbor thinks you only befriended him to get something in return (them hearing the gospel). When first meeting someone, you should let them know within the first 2 or 3 times you talk that you let them know you are a Christian. If you start sharing with them after that, then they may wonder why you didn't reveal that before.

If you bring it up the first time meeting them, they will think you are only being friendly so that they will go to your church.
Let them know early in the relationship and it won't bring up awkward moments between you. If you don't see your neighbor much other than in passing, just things like going to church every Sunday or having religious lawn ornaments will make them aware you are a Christian. Over time, they will notice these things. And then when you do get a chance to speak, you can feel better about sharing with them.

And like John says, if you are helping them with a project or digging a ditch, they will feel more obligated to listening to you. But you should let your neighbor know some subtle way early on that you are a Believer. Then when you talk, test them out. Do they go to church? What do they think about spirit matters?

The other day I saw someone in my neighborhood while I was walking the dog. I said: "Hey I have good news for you. The kingdom of God is near and Jesus Christ is Lord". He asked me if I had heard any news from Biden. 😁

Amen, I agree context is always huge.Still does not change that it says they were chosen before birth so that God's purpose of election might continue, not bc of works but bc of Him who calls in verse 11. What about Eph 1:3-7?It says b4 the foundation of the world was set we were predestined in love for adoption as His sons through Christ Jesus. This does not change the fact that we are commanded to share the gospel, but no one can come to Christ without God opening their eyes.It works together.

We’re sinners going to hell but Jesus died so you can have eternal life. Repent and trust in Him only as your savior (not on being a good person)..!

Humility! More than half the battle is how one acts. Very important :)

@UrukEngineer I agree with your statements here too. Just that I think there is evidence to support belief in God. There's too many people that don't know what they believe, just taking on their family's traditions and assuming it as their own.

Today I was at a neighbour's house, and I didn't share the Gospel, feeling awful.
She told me she doesn't believe in God, I told her there's a God, and who loves us, and I also asked if she is not afraid of the life after?, because there is a heaven and a hell.
Ohh....I was out of words, I thought of telling her that those whose reject God are condemned already but I didn't, on the other i was afraid of misrepresenting the gospel.
Yet again, afraid of being religious.
Please can someone give me some tips so that next time I meet her, I share the Gospel to her.
I live in German, I haven't yet mastered the language, so we were chatting in German.
I have a language barrier problem.
Did I reject Jesus.Christ by not sharing the Gospel to her?
Please any responses?
Thank you.

@UrukEngineer There are two issues here. 1) Historicity of the bible and ideas 2) Christian response to these ideas. There is evidence for Jesus'existence, resurrection, and the resulting movement that is connected to His claim to being God. That can be debated. However, just because the doctrine is not agreeable it may still be true. I don't like gravity, but I can't say it's wrong because I don't like it and it causes a lot of people hip fractures.
