I have a 2jz GE seating in my garage right now, awaiting the same treatment ; I'm hopping to put in in a 75 BMW 2002 . You are one of the only guy I've seen on YouTube that is doing a build that seem financially, and physically feasible in one home garage to me a regular guy. I'll be taking a lot of notes along with my own research to see what will be best for my setup . Good luck with the build, and i cant wait to see it up and running .

What intake manifold are you going to be using? I have a SRT Gen 2 that I never used if interested. Nice build I’m doing the same build with the engine but going with a r154 in my IS300

Hey mate I’ve just bought a mk4 NA supra and I’m wanting to do a engine build (on a budget) what’s the best way to go about it? Engine has 216 kilometres on it and is blowing a bit on smoke on idle and when you take off I’m pretty sure it’s just the valve stem seals. I want the engine to be ready for a turbo when I get my full licence. Any info would really help!

Hey I’m currently building my 2j and I’m in a jam with my bearings, most builders advise me to go with OEM main/rod bearing. Why did you choose ACL bearing?!

the GE has no oil cooling for the pistons am i right? en the GTE has oil cooling for the underside of the pistons.
