My grandfather Hugh was one of the most incredible people I’ve ever known. When he saw this show on TV, he dreamed of being a part of it, and we were all so thrilled when we got the news that he was actually going to be on! Our whole family and a group of friends flew all the way from Georgia to LA to celebrate this moment with him—it was such an exciting time for all of us.

Even though winning the million dollars would have been an amazing ending, this episode became so much more than that for our family. It’s a memory we’ll treasure forever. My Papaw passed away two years after this show, and now my grandmother has also passed. Having this episode to watch is like holding onto a piece of them—a reminder of how fun, vibrant, and full of life they were.

I’ve even been able to share this episode with my husband so he could see what incredible people my grandparents were. I can’t wait to share it with my future kids one day so they can see just how much fun their great-grandparents were.

And for anyone wondering—there was never any animosity toward Jason. It was all in good fun, and we were just honored that Papaw had the opportunity to live out this dream. This moment brought so much joy to our family and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

To all who still watch and comment on his show- it brings me joy knowing he is still touching peoples lives!

1:16:25 $300, 000 being eliminated was cold comfort because there was still a chance Dave's case had the million - just see how Dave became fed up and wanted to end the hypothetical game 1:16:36. 1:16:50 $400, 000 being eliminated didn't feel that good either because it further increased the possibility of a missed million which would be a second time in this episode!!! 1:17:00

Dave accepted an offer of $81K which was the third offer and it turns out that his case had $1M! Because of this, it marks the biggest banker victory of all time of US DOND with the regular money table board!

I am shocked that Dave took the deal sooo early when there were still 11 cases in play, 3 of which were higher than the deal he took! Sure enough, the offer would have skyrocketed by over 2.5 times had he gone one more round! Thereafter, every amount opened that wasn't the million (i.e. including even $300k and $400k) was pure torture as it increased the likelihood of the ultimate nightmare which eventually proved itself to be a reality 1:18:58!!!

How long can you last *without* knocking out the three-quarters of a million dollars? There is only one amount higher than the offer, do you take the guarantee or do you go for the 2-out-of-3 chance of opening anything but $750, 000 and leaving the $750, 000 in play?

The $1M case was standing alone when Hugh took the $99K offer, and nobody knows where it is. So I think he made the right choice here.
