I love how Feeny drops the "concerned educator" stance and just says "You can't have Shawn." Throughout the show he acted as a principal and always tried to keep this professionalism. But I love the moments where you get a peek beyond his desire to help all students and when he shows how much he cares for Shawn Cory Eric and Topanga as individuals, as his favorite students. He is concerned for Shawn as someone who loves him period.

It's moments like this that will never make Girl Meets World as good as Boy Meets World. BWM tackled actual serious problems like this one or that one episode where Shawn was trying to help a girl get away from her abusive father or that one where they were in college and a professor made a move on Topanga and Cory punched him for it and nearly got kicked out of school. Now it's all popularity contests and stuff, and I bet if they tried to do one of those serious storylines like they did on BMW parents would be up in arms about it saying that they don't want their children exposed to that sort of thing.

This episode really takes it toll because I was actually in cult. they really do get you when you are so down in the floor that you think everything around you is terrible and only they can help you and keep you safe. Glad I got out man. Smh I know this is just a show but I’m glad Shawn got out.
