Windows 11, due out later this year, is full of new features, including a new Start menu that's been moved to the center and a Microsoft Store with Android apps. In an exclusive interview, WSJ’s Joanna Stern spoke with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella about the software, the influence of the pandemic and his strategy of competing with Google and Apple. Hello! An earlier version of the closed captions incorrectly transcribed Mr. Nadella’s name. We have corrected this.

When I worked at Oracle, we had a saying: "We ship junk, but we ship it on time." True for all software companies.

Those "cloud-enabled" features are the first I disable after installing the system.

She didn't ask the real question - "Will it automatically restart and update when I'm on a critical schedule?" 😂

To the western audience unaware of what he meant by "Two ones make eleven", it is a rough translation of a famous hindi quote "Ek aur ek gyarah" and is extensively used in his native place India. What we mean by this is that when two people unite to accomplish something worthwhile, they can both prove to be drastically more efficient than before. i.e. 1+1>2

Windows 11 removed taskbar and start menu customizability options. You can move to to the bottom left and keep it at bottom center. Previously it was possible to move taskbar to the left, top, right sides of the screens. This important feature was simply REMOVED in Windows 11.

Just realized Satya's voice is like Stewie trying to make a Schwarzenegger impression.

The interview sounded like she’s taking a job interview of the CEO of Microsoft. 🤔

I guess Microsoft's CEO is now called "Mr. Noodles" as the captions/subtitles say.

Was the logo designer of win 11 paid? I mean literally just for creating 4 perfectly symmetrical squares?
