Enthusiastic Steve: Compact Portable Power Solution for Amateur and CB Radio users

As an Amateur and CB radio operator (Plus for HAMS across the pond) I enjoy operating out hilltop. down by the sea or just in a park or garden.
One of the limitations has always been having to carry a hefty battery to power my equipment.
In this video I take a look at a small, useful car jumper power pack that via a dedicated 12v socket can provide DC power to run radios (Xiegu, Icom, Yaesu, Kenwood, Alinco) whilst out portable, from the car or even homebase.
No more carrying heavy lead acid batteries, a perfect solution for most radio operators for operating sub 20 watt radios for up to 3 hrs or so. (Plus ideal for low power QRP stations)

All the best

Enjoyed your review Steve ...liked to see the old radios ..I used to have the York 863 and the stalker 9 lol battery cut off ..just run a very small fan to add a bit of a load ? what was the cut off voltage on the battery? Lead acid battery you only have 50, % of stated capacity before damaging it lithium Safe to 80, %. And of course a radio doesn't like low voltage...all that said a good review and deffo good for couple hours qrp .. keep up the good work Steve and the enthusiasm 👍
