Later in the game tip: this spot is good up until the artifacts are being hunted down. This isn’t a good outpost spot after those even more futuristic humans try to steal them and you have to move them because they attack the lodge (can’t remember off my head)

It’s also good for smuggling in contraband. Just jump to the planet, land on your base, drop it off, take off and let the UC scan you, then you have officially smuggled contraband without the need for the special parts.

Bessel III-b is currently the best location you can build one atm for 5 resources in one outpost location!

I put it on the moon kurtz so I don’t get scanned at any major planets and build up my contraband.

I took the opposite route. I never touched the main story line and immediately became a crimson fleet pirate and became the universes biggest menace and drug lord :) still never did the first mission from the lodge, also nah your wrong. According to all the other youtubers the best outpost location for beginners is in a lvl 70 planet where you need to be lvl 100 to do all the best xp and money farms
