I'm enjoying the Germany content where it's not the German who is angry.

I had a friend learning English as a second language and he asked me what the past tense of 'cut' was. I told him it was 'cut' and he let out a wail of anguish and fell to the ground.

the tiny “neiiin ne birne” omg I actually feel bad for you 😂 and your boyfriend probably does too, seeing how you’re trying to connect the dots but german is hard 😭

It's soooo cute how your partner giggles - or is trying to stifle a giggle - before every punchline 😄

Actually a “gherkin” is English for a tiny cucumber that is pickled in a very sweet brine… I love them!

I am loving your videos! I studied in West Germany in 1990. The borders were open but reunification had not happened. It was a fascinating time to be 19 and in Berlin and feeling like history was happening! I have traveled all over Europe, Asia, South America. Germany is still so special to me.

You could actually use "Invitation" in German, but that makes you sound *fancy*

Imagine us danes
We start by learning english which is a lot like danish. And then to mix it all up we learn german which is like a mix og english and danish but still different.

Fun fact: all the words she got wrong derive originally from Latin (sometimes through French), whereas German has retained the Germanic etymon. Simple and logical.
