You guys need to review the Xbox variant of the Stealth 700. The options are a bit different.
•No dongle
•Uses proprietary Xbox wireless
•Windows Sonic compatible
Also no mention of using Bluetooth for calls and music while gaming, an excellent feature.
Thanks for the quality content!

Haha I own both and I see a lot of comments saying it’s biased. I have used my turtle beach for a while but I recently bought these astros and I prefer them greatly

As an owner of a lot of products from both companies I have some details not covered in this video about the brands in general.

I have had no issues with either breaking frame wise on any Astro or turtle Beach.
Astros in my experience have a lot of cheap exterior parts and have had to replace many things in the life of the headset itself. Cables, mic, ect.
Both have good sound it's really based off what you prefer.
My turtle beaches far out live an Astro I've had. I've used a20s, 40s, and a50s. I get about a year use out of them then everything starts to go wrong even on sets I've never dropped both wired and wireless.
Only had popping issues with one turtle beach after owning it for 3 years and that was a simple part replacement.
Sadly where turtle beach fails is they don't have customization like they did back in 360 days.

I just got the A20s and yeah they're pretty decent for the price point. Lots of detailed sound and they're extremely comfortable. Coming from the PlayStation Gold's.

What an amazing review on two products.

The TBs look very cheap. Apparently Asphalt 9 is an excellent audio engine for upgrading the performance of any headset. Great Review, Thanks!

I recently bought myself some A10s and I am regretting it a lot due to the tight fit and that they hurt my head after a while. Next headset I buy is probably gonna be this pair of turtle beach

I almost got the Hyper X cloud wireless stinger ones but the reviews said it has a ton of issues esp. with the PS4. I ended up getting the Astro A20's and they are sick AF!!! no wires and the sound quality is great.

The Turtle Beach 700 is the better choice!!! Because the Super Human Hearing Feature is very good for tracking your enemys. So you only can hear the more relevant information. You can also play music via Bluetooth and play games and chat in party at the same time (you can only play Spotify on Ps4, but with TB 700 you can play music from your phone and play). Why you forgot to give credit to these important features Rtings???

I want just one thing, in this reviews for gaming headsets it's important to mention not if it's only compatible with the consoles but if support 7.1 or stereo sound on consoles! For example you have as the best gaming headset steelseries 7 but you don't mention it's stereo sound on consoles or 7.1?! And which one is the best for console! Thanks for your great work anyway!

420x sounds better than the 700x. Cool thing that the 700x can do is connect to your phones Bluetooth but that also means the only way to switch out your preset is by a program you need to download and update them on your computer first and then a download a app to switch between the presets.

The main difference between for me is that the sound quality. 420x has more base meaning you can hear the foot steps in depth and know which better direction their coming from better. Actually the best way to hear the sound quality is listening to music with heavy base.

Yes active cancellation is interesting but henders the sound quality of the game. Even with the presets are on. You don't really hear much of a difference with the other presets.

420x has built in presets. And sounds great when you aux cable it to your phone. when you connect the 700nto your phone Bluetooth style. There's no depth on the music sounds flat

But but.... If you have Dolby atmos the quality of the headsets sound amazing beats all of them. But the thing about that this you gotta pay and the only thing you can access on sound quality in Xbox is just windows sonic which gives ghetto depth a little bit.

But honestly buy them everybody hear things differently.. But for me 420x was a better buy than the 700. Which makes no sense at all...
