as someone with a cartilage piercing i don’t regret it at all, it hurts if you bump it or lay on it for the first few weeks when it’s healing but after that you don’t feel it at all. if you want one you should def get it i recommend :)

I don’t regret my helix. I went to a professional tattoo/ piercing parlor a few weeks ago. The most annoying part is not being able to sleep on the left side. It’s proven that sleeping on the left side is healthier for the body. Cleaning it is also like a chore but it’s better to do it daily than ending up with infections/ hospital bills.

I have it cartilage piercings two of them are traditional helixes, and all I gotta say is stick with it. The journey is not always pretty and for me some of them took over two years to fully heal, but being able to go to sleep on them every night with no problem is worth the struggle. I’ve been good for years now and it’s so nice

Cuffs are great if you’re thinking about getting the piercing but don’t want to commit before seeing if you actually like it. I was gifted helix cuffs for Christmas because I loved my sister in laws double helix but wasn’t sure how I felt about it on myself. After a week of wearing the cuff I had it done. I don’t regret it at all- it’s only been 4 months and it’s already fully healed.

I see that a lot of people are saying that the cuffs either fall off and they lose them or they cause pain. If they cause pain, make sure they aren’t too tight. If they fall off, try the ones that are a regular earring with a small chain connected to the cuff. That way, if they fall off, you wont lose it and someone can let you know so you can fix it. People say that the healing process is more painful than the piercing itself but honestly like it doesn't hurt at all and it hasn't hurt and it's not a hassle to clean it it's like an amazing piercing to me

Mine took along time to feel normal but I don’t regret it. The stinging can last for quite some time. Here are some tips though.
1) Try and keep your hair away from your face.
2) Be diligent with your after care.
3) Ear buds over headphones for awhile.
4) Be patient.
Oddly enough my least painful piercing was my nose but I regret it a little. Getting it done didn’t feel like much the pain but the healing TOOK forever. Any time I tried to kiss my big nose boyfriend it would pull out and sting like a bitch. I ended up taking it out after some months and now with a small scar.

Look, I used to have 2 piercings. I have six now, and honestly the cuffs are kind of worth it. I have piercings on the bottom of my ears, so I wear cuffs sometimes. If you are going to wear them, wear ones that have some sort of cushion or silicone feeling, or else they will make your ears red and sore.

the pain makes me happy like when you have a really good workout and your sore. I always get piercings on one ear at a time let them heal and get more on the other ear because i’m a chronic side sleeper.
