It takes up to a year maybe more to heal not 6 months. I have both ears done and this is one of the most difficult piercings to have. If you do not have patience I wouldn't suggest getting this piercing.

I went in today to get one after wanting it for ten years. Yes ten years... I waited to see if it was a phase. However it turned out my ear anatomy wasn't ideal for an industrial. The piercer showed examples of how it would look with my ear anatomy and the types of piercings that would be great for me. She suggested a helix instead and I have zero regrets. Always important to look for good shops with knowledgeable staff!

Surprisingly, this piercing didn’t hurt, not unless I accidentally bumped it or something. But I already had my cartilage pierced once before so that explains why there was less pain. 😂

Only get pierced with implant grade titanium and 18k gold just because it's nickel free doesn't mean you aren't allergic (as in stainless steel and sterling silver.) however, once your industrial is healed you can put other metals in there. Still stay away from metals that contain nickel. Also, not everyone has the anatomy for piercing.

I had both industrials on both my ears and it was hard for me to cope with at first but I got used to it, it is one on my most painful ear piercing that I had done twice, it’s not for everyone

I had my industrial piercing done in 2021. Its been two since i have changed the jewellery and it still hurts…. I dont know how long it will take to heal cz it still hurts…..😢

6 months? I can now easily say you havent had industrial piercing done. No way its gonna heal in 6 months, it takes from a year to 1.5 years

I’ve had this piercing for 3 years now! By farrrr the most tedious healing process. But it still gets me the most compliments out of all my piercings! If you don’t mind an extremely annoying aftercare process, this piercing is definitely a great way to stand out :)

Got this piercing done 15 years ago. I had to take it out for a bit. Later on, I keloids at the site. My favorite piercing of all.

My industrial was probably my most painful piercing. 7.5-8/10 pain scale I’d say. If it has to come out for some reason, I don’t know if I would get it repierced. It‘a definitely one of my favourites though

I have my done over 3 years ago. I remembered being so nervous in getting it done. It was the most painful one. It was less painful than having a broken ankle. I have 3 more piercings just after my industrial piercing at this same place. I had my 2nd cartilage piercing on my left ear and both of my conch piercings on both ears. I had the left conch done last year in early December and on my right ear since May 10th of 2022. I also have 7 more piercings that was done in the mid to the late 90’s. Those 7 were done by a gun. I have 6 piercings on both of my ears so far.

I just got mine like two days ago and it didn’t hurt as much as I thought. It’s not sore or anything until my Bonnet or shirts snag it but I’m ready to get different cute little jewelry for my industrial, also I can move it just a bit just to clean it
