Acura TLX SH-AWD 2.0T(Better Than The 3.5)?!

I work for Honda and I have the new civic with the low wiper design. what you do when you wash the car or need to clear snow is hold up the wiper stalk for 2 seconds AFTER you shut off the car, they'll swing up and hold there so you can lift them off the glass.

I did the timing belt service on my 4th gen awd and they gave me a RDX and i believe they too come with the 2.0t and they dont sound good at all but driving a turbo car was nice i also liked the 10 speed transmission it’s nice,

The put the wipers low on the cowl so it doesn't freeze to the glass.

Not by a mile. I'd gladly take the 3.5 over the 2.0T. A weaker 2.0 is just going to wear out much quicker because of the Turbo. It's more mechanical nonsense that will inevitably go wrong. With turbo engines, the oil is exposed to higher temperatures within the cylinders, and the engine gets hotter. Even when these engines are built more robust to sustain the pressure they don't last nearly as long. At the same time, it's only marginally better in terms of fuel mileage though not in all aspects. A lot of that will come down to the size of the Turbo. They are powered by exhaust gas pressure which turns the turbines and compresses the air. A small turbo can spool up with less exhaust pressure thus lower engine RPM's while a larger turbo requires more exhaust pressure to spool thus higher RPM's.

As far as that goes this seems remarkably slower on the high end. Normally Turbo's would build on the top end but these smaller Turbo's just hit high RPM's in low gears to produce better torque which is why you've got little power in the high end because it curves off. If your accelerating spooling up the Turbo in low gears like that you'll find you won't get much better gas mileage.

Lastly, you can't replace that 3rd pedal & shifter. Those are irreplaceable to me.

Agreed with your comments. The previous gen felt better in every way. Especially with the J series. Looks are subjective and while the shape is nice I prefer the previous gen. But I will say this.... Acura's design usually age well and in a few years this look will grow on me.

The Accord 2.0T is most def the best modern day turbo engine. Accord is also lighter

The viper thing is for aero dynamics.. they sit lower than the hood to flow air over them... had it in my audi..
when you turn the car off or in ignition on mode you can put it in viper service mode by holding viper stock in single swipe mode for 2 seconds and it will move them into their highest position to lift up and clean snow under it or change viper blades

If you're in Sport mode, you can use the paddle shifters. You weren't in Sport mode when you were using the paddles.

Everyone keeps saying that this 10 speed automatic shifts quicker. But I find for the most part my 4th gen AWD TL tachometer has more of an aggressive needle shock when the transmission shifts. Maybe I'm wrong even the tachometer on the 2nd gen TL especially the type s has a faster response to transmission shifts. I find it odd these newer Acura vehicle has a more laggy tachometer. To some of you may not care, but I noticed.

How’s the auto stop start work on this? When I had a 19 TLX 3.5 V6 AWD, it barely, if ever worked. Does it work most of the time?

It's for someone concerned about fuel mileage. It's not for me. There's also a pedal missing and a shifter. Honestly RevsALot didn't you feel like you were in the wrong car? Did you try to use the brake as a clutch. Lol
