Guinness World Record Quadruple High C (Trumpet Note CCCC) Kurt Thompson May 2021 I know of nobody else that has recorded a live, uncut, non-studio Quadruple C at any point in history!
This is a Guinness World Record Trumpet Highest Note Of All Time!
00:00 INTRO
02:25 QUADRUPLE G
02:48 QAUDRUPLE A
03:21 QAUDRUPLE Bb
04:39 QUADRUPLE B
06:47 QUADRUPLE C
09:25 FUNNY RECAP
As you will see, most of the content in this video is unedited, uncut, and raw. It is also on video...nothing done in secret and absolutely NO studio magic!
If you watch carefully, I hit more than one quad C on trumpet!
You will never see a Quadruple C written in music for trumpet nor will you see a Triple C written in music for trumpet, but...GUESS WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR DOUBLE C when you can play a quadruple C??
IT BECOMES A "BURY THE BAND" HIGH NOTE SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO MAKE IT THAT DOMINANT!
Highest note on trumpet and you might say the highest notes ever played because I also got the 4 notes leading up to the quad C too!

Hello Kurt. 1h before seeing this video I was actually checking some of your old advice videos for high notes. And I just reached double C for the 1st time ever! It was a very small whistle using my mute too but it was there and I could play the whole scale several times. I play as a hobby for 10 years but I never got anything above E over high C before tonight so while this is certainly due to other tips too, I say thank you Kurt! Eager to test that tomorrow without my mute (3 AM now).

Yikes dude, you're scaring me, couldn't you rupture brain vessels??
Anyway, I'm astonished this could even be done!! Good Job!
What mouthpiece is that? Right now I've only been able to hit an F above high C, would a Nicholson Xpiece with reversible ring get me to double high C?
Right now I use a Schilke 14A4a; I own a Monette MFII but haven't been able to hit higher than normal on it. Any suggestions?

Impressive! For someone starting out, what do you think is the necessary range for playing different genres? For example, what's the highest note you need to be able to comfortably hit playing classical? What about lead?

Wow. And I thought I could play high notes! This is very impressive!

Any tips on being able to produce the power for a double high c? For context I’m playing a song in my high school’s jazz band that’ll require me to go from a g to a c, I can do it on my own time but during performance it seems to never come out properly. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

What’s crazy is that it looks like your doing only enough pressure to seal it…sick man 🔥

Man that is so impressive, the highest I’ve gotten is a high A, it maybe a double C but still really cool

dude i saw a video where some guy supposedly played a triple f and his trumpet exploded so i have no idea how you managed a quad c

Is this a c""" (6) in German notation?

I have perfect pitch and can indeed confirm this is the first recorded quad C on trumpet, as only birds have chirped it before. Now that the standard has been set, only time will tell if the human ear will evolve to perceive pitches higher than this quad C.

Does Arturo Sandoval play higher?

Feel free to comment with any link to a Quadruple C or higher as long as we can watch and hear the person doing it! Audio or some blog talking about how high they got in their practice room does not count folks!

That is quite a feet but I think Maynard Ferguson has you beat. Not to say that you aren't in great company. On the album Chameleon in the song "Gospel John". He plays so high I can't even hardly hear the note. Check it out. You know he collapsed a lung playing one time.

This is not the highest note of all time… people have gone much higher.

I checked: Nobody else has done it like you. 1 person did it in the studio with no video, no evidence actually who it was except for this person's word
