Sautéed String Beans with Garlic

Ingredients

- 1 lb String Beans(cut ends off and cut into 2 to 3 inch pieces)
- 5 Cloves Garlic(minced)
- 1/2 Tsp Salt(add more or less to taste)
- 1/4 Tsp MSG(optional)
- Neutral Oil

Instructions

1. In a wok or deep pan pour neutral oil until it reaches 1 inch from the bottom of the pan
2. Heat oil on medium high heat
3. Once the oil is shimmering(test to see if oil is hot by using chopstick. If the chopstick starts to bubble, then the oil is hot enough)
4. Add the string beans into the hot oil in batches
5. Flash fry for 2 to 3 minutes until skin starts to blister
6. Strain out string beans and pour oil into another bowl
7. Sauté garlic in the same pan until the garlic starts to brown
8. Add the string beans and season with salt and MSG
9. Sauté for another couple of minutes and serve
