So, Ive gotta tell you about my crazy moment I had in life yesterday . I'll try not to let this comment take us down the wrong rabits hole, my apologies if I do. So im a coin collector and have beenit does ive been collecting coins going on about 20 years now. Ive got a huge collection that would probably fill up a couple of wheel barrels. Ranging from 25 to 30 common proof sets, commemorative coins and blister packs, and the rest are mainly large medium, and small binders separating the stage of BU's and or MS But my ideal collection is dealing with coin errors. Those are my favorite to look out for. My job allows me to hunt through 8 to 10 rolls of mixed coins on a nightly basis.A great perk for this hobby. yesterday at work we had a water pipe right behind the wall which the water started to fill up into the office? we have a big floor safe that we keep our change and money in which everything did get wet except for 4 odd looking rolls of nickels that were oldish looking compared to the rest of the rolled up nickels. there's was about $600 in rolled change between quarter, nickels, dimes and pennies and pretty much all soaked. I spent the next 3 hours unwrapping all the coins and putting them into plastic buckets stuffing the sides with dry towels to help dry each coin. All separated by denomination, The coins dried up pretty quickly and didn't see too much water damage on them. My bosses were like, oh just leave the coin be, they'll dry out eventually while still being in the wrapper. But I know leaving them that way would cause them to be ruined, probably rust and corrode and would make them look terrible. Me being a collector I couldn't allow myself to let that happen. If I wasnt there that day, I know the staff would of tried to put them back out into circulation, in their wet condition all out and into a dozen cash draws. Im cutting to the chase now, So Something extremely remarkable did occur coming out of all that negative juju that day. It was literally my all time best finds, a once in a lifetime find im guessing. With so many rare coins out there, people are tirelessly searching in every nook and cranny of the globe. That elusive round coin which youve only seen in books or on line.take a glance on top of the shelf directly above the safe which i again see those 4 older style dried rolls of nickels, just laying there. Something told me to open them up and take a look. So 3 of the rolls of nickels were in a light blue and brown colored roll, and the last roll n an all brown paper bag type roll & black wording., there was also red pen writing as well which said registry only, not sure which type of registry thats for or not. But this last roll of nickels were 40 of the most beautiful partially toned with the orange and reddish rainbow hue on half clearly displaying all full steps. Ive only been able to sort through the first 20 coins, Im mainlmjj up to 6th byyver just doing the doing close ups and documentation after wevbuild cowith a fine tooth comb. Im literally blown away with this roll, by far the best quality Coins Ive seen ever. Of the 20 so far was 3 of these each a 1950-D the rarest nickel of the production run. only 2.6 million produced. the the next 2 were the 1942-D D over Horizontal D. In gorgeous condition and easy defined Fullsteps as well. How would you go about this and what steps to ensure these coins stay In these shapes. they are in, plus how do I go about Getting these coins in from of die hard collectors and fans. Rem8nd me to load or dm photos. Thanks

I need help desperately. I saved coins as a kid even, to give my brother who was a coin collector, as he'd point out "oddities" which are called by different names now, in their rarity (making them special- keepers). Well, sadly my brother died. But, I've got so many coins saved & no clue how & where exactly, to start researching them. This is a good video- I've been saving short vids & these long vids too. But, that's all scattered too. I guess, what I'm trying to say is I need help getting organized. Is anyone out there, that'd impart their knowledge-based experience for me? Thanks in advance, & know I'll get back in touch!

One more thing...at 1:24 in the video...
"Really won't matter that much unless the coin is just 'rare' to begin with"
What happened to "just because it's rare, doesn't mean it's valuable"..
Alright, then quit using the word 'rare' to describe coins for their monetary value.

Isn't it funny how always the high-grade coins always have this particular kind of toning... similar to the 1964 SMS quarter for example.... for some reason they have this kind of toning. Almost as if they're using the toning to seperate whether said coins are 'true'....or not. Can someone start connecting names? For anybody who does posts from now on. Sherlock Holmes it, just to see how many of these coin content creators are tied in to the grading companies. Family or friends.... The reason alot of coins don't get graded when they should've. Look at the Jefferson nickel full steps.... enough said. Pathetic!!
