Last time I tried to bring my backpack coz there was an actual fire but the principle came to me and took me backpack and threw it in the middle of the corridor - _-


The fire didn't reach the building my class was in so nothing happened to it and no one was was hurt except for my drama teacher...

one time (i will probably forever remember this) in elementary school, we were playing an online game as a whole class, like about our vocabulary words or something. i was winning with the most points, i was literally destroying everybody. and as i was recahing my peak, the goddamn fire alarm went off. i am still pissed about this.

Literally the fire drill at my school one time REALLY came at the worst time.

One time, for some reason our school mixed both fire and earthquake drills together that time (which doesn't seem like much but the main reason why it was worse is because of me) at the time I was very sick (but still ended up being at school) and a few minutes before the drill I rushed to the rest room because I really didn't feel well and ended up puking on one of the sinks, luckily I was already done puking when they rang the fire bell but what made it worse was when we were already outside. After maybe 30 minutes, we were told to get back to the schools but as I was walking back, I collapsed on the floor. Luckily there was a teacher beside me and saw that I wasn't looking too well and immediately told one of the high schoolers to carry me to the principal's office (cuz it was closer than the clinic) and when I felt slightly better, they carried me to the clinic and naped for the rest of the day.

Reasons that could be the main reason why I collapsed during a fire/earthquake drill:
-Being very sick
-Very hot weather (+wearing a thick jacket)
-Dehydrated (only drank a bit of apple juice after puking)
(Or all of them could be the main reason why I collapsed in the first place)

One time my school had a real fire, and it happened right during dismissal. Since everyone thought it was a drill, no one used their assigned stairs, and the whole school ran down the same exact stairs whilst screaming, not to mention we shared the building with another school making the event more chaotic.

I used to have so many fire alarm evacuations in 6th grade. It sucked. I would cover my ears, because I have sensory issues! I have Autism, ADHD and I think I have Aspergers Syndrome. It would happen at the worst time. In 5th grade, a kid pulled the fire alarm and the prinicipal shouted at the kid who pulled it and he suspended her.

I suffer from PTSD from a house fire that happened in 2009 (it was very small but I was ten years old). PTSD symptoms started during high school and whenever we had a fire drill, my heart started racing and I started having an anxiety attack. When I tried to explain to the school about it and why and tried to ask if I could be allowed to leave class before the actual drill started (some kids with sensory processing issues were allowed to), they said they weren’t allowed to let me leave early unless the diagnosis was on my file. It made sense and I understood why, especially since I wasn’t professionally diagnosed at the time (I didn’t wanna relive the trauma; I wasn’t diagnosed until a couple weeks ago), but suffering through the fire drills sucked.

Yesterday, my apartment actually had a fire drill, and at midnight, the fire alarm goes off.

I had this one time in the middle of February, it was 35 degrees outside. It had just rained as well. We had a sub in 6th period, and taking a test. Then we just hear a bunch of kids in the halls running. Out of no where the fire always goes off. We had no idea until the principal comes on the intercom and said to evacuate the building. So everyone was frantic because we had a sub, and everyone was confused because it was a weird time with the alarm. Then we get back inside and they sent us into a code red drill.(active shooter or intruder) Everyone was mad that day.

I have a story: So this past year they would pretty much always have the fire drills during first period (Math for me). We would always miss part of first period and it would add up. We lost precious math class time and missed some stuff because of that and other morning things. Then one day during dismissal they were playing soccer in my homeroom (I was in another classroom at the time) And (From what I remember) the ball bounced off the wall and hit the trigger just right and set off the fire alarm. We all had to evacuate and because it was triggered instead of it being a drill, the firefighters had to come and do a check before we could go back in only to have it go off again. The teachers were NOT happy.

Once my class was in the middle of gymnastics with our socks off and the fire alarm went off so everyone had to leave the building bare foot.
