Perform these 5 simple steps to create a fire drill procedure that everyone at your organization can follow.

No one expects to experience a fire at work, but they happen every day in office buildings, job sites, schools, and other workplaces worldwide. In fact, fires cause more than 3,000 deaths and $25 billion in property losses annually—and that’s just in the U.S.

By conducting regular fire drills, your organization can plan for a fire and prepare employees to exit the building safely.

This step-by-step video will guide you through the process of conducting a fire drill at work.

Use these resources to help implement the steps covered in the video:

Fire Evacuation Plan Template - Streamline your organization's life-saving fire evacuation procedures.

Workplace Fire Safety Checklist - Take proactive measures to minimize the chance of a fire occurring at your office or job site.

Multichannel Fire Communication Templates - Prepare your organization to communicate during every phase of a fire.

you forgot to mention adults with sensory sensitivities to the loud fire alarms, as this may cause this person problems with anxiety leading up to a possible case of ptsd from the loud alarms, and need special accommodations like, being exempt from the drill (if legal), and depending on the circumstances.
