Vs our school:
Teacher: Everyone into a line now. Be quiet and get to the door in a neat line, we won’t leave until you are all in the line. Someone get the asthma and medication box and the fire register.

I once had a fire drill in the middle if a big Spanish test. Needless to say everyone looked up a few things while waiting to be let in again xD

My school would sit there for a 1 hour trying to line us up perfectly

in elementary, they made us line up in a single file line. I was used to it because i did it for 7 year ( i started school when i was 4, counting as year 1 ). but in middle school, they let us all just go get to the nearest exit and out. And only when we got out was when we lined up in our homeroom line. I loved middle school so much.

When I did go to real school, before being homeschooled, the tornado drills was what scared me as a kindergartener. I would scream, cry and beg for my mom even though it was just a drill, the teachers would try and calm me down but I was too hysterical to listen.

Once the fire alarm went off at my school and my religion teacher held everyone in the room for around 10 minutes so she could find her keys.

Another time it went off because one of the lunch ladies burnt some toast. Fire department showed up and everything.

Both these situations took place in Canada

Then my geography teacher who finished the lesson before letting us leave for the fire alarm

Me and my sister were always doing a show and tell at primary school when the fire drill happened. And we would be terrified that our favourite toys were about to be destroyed

Teachers may ask their students to leave their belongings behind during a fire drill, but they should remember to do the same and not take their own possessions with them in a real emergency. 🆘 ❤

@ my school we have to wait until they announce that it's a drill, and by the time they announce it, we would literally all be dead (if it was real..that's Florida for ya)
