Thank you pastor Imad. This messages was meant for the most ungodly of all wretches - me. Praise God that the gift of life in His Son is mine by faith alone. May God bless you, your ministry and your family. Keep bringing us these saving truths - please.

Too many Christians reason that "I believe in Jesus, therefore I am justified by Christ's righteousness, *NO FURTHER COMMITMENT."* They fail to realize that *this is simply the very first step* of righteousness by faith. Too many of us have stopped at this first step of 'belief', and will not be justified in the sight of God. When the books are opened the record will expose us as such. The apostle Paul confirmed in Romans 1:17 that the ‘therein is righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith'. *WE MOVE ONWARDS from faith to faith, ALWAYS GROWING IN THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST, * unto perfection.

Justification by faith alone is a rudimentary doctrine of many denominations. People are taught that they are saved the moment they believe in Jesus. Countless Christians base their hope of eternal salvation on this doctrine. Often, they are extremely dogmatic in condemning anyone who teaches that certain acts of obedience are required for one to be saved.
His salvation act to save mankind is an offer, not a handout. His grace did not save anyone unconditionally. He died to save mankind. In order for anyone to be saved, there are conditions to be met. Faith is not complete without obedience. We must also recognize that once you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour you cannot be presumptuous and become antinomianism.

There are other elements of Christ's righteousness, but the two vital points are to do with justification and sanctification. Through faith in our Lord and Saviour, His righteousness is 'imputed' to us and makes us justified. *In other words, Christ's righteousness is 'credited' to us, we are 'made righteous'* and we gain, through Christ alone, a 'right' to heaven. Then the righteousness of Christ is 'imparted' to us and sanctifies us. *Through faith, Christ becomes an INDWELLING PRESENCE to bring about character perfection and obedience to all of God's law.* - This is our 'fitness' for heaven. *These two main elements go hand in hand and cannot be separated, * as true faith is more than attending Church, reading the Bible, and listening to sermons. Like the Pharisees, they think their study of Scripture and serving others are proof of their eternal life. [John 5:39].

True faith will distinguish authentic believers from false believers. True faith is more than an orthodox profession of Christ. Intellectual orthodoxy does not indicate saving faith. ‘Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.’ Matt. 7:21.

Hence why Sunday is the sabbath of the Roman Catholic Church. The true 7th day Sabbath calls us to REST from our own works and REST in the full and complete work of God. Thus it is Yehovah who justifies and sanctifies us.

Thank you. Brother for explaining this importance issue so clearly. Hearing that we MUST be fitted for heaven before Jesus comes..can get us looking to self again. The church does lean heavily into our works. This was beautifully explained.

My understanding of faith vs works, is that, Jesus paid our debt of sin, and to have that debt paid, is through faith. We could never pay off that debt of sin, no matter how many good works, Jesus had to die for us.

At the same time, James says "faith without works is dead", and so the "works" in this case, are the "works of faith", meaning, you have faith in Jesus as saviour and Lord, but through that, he becomes your master, and you have to obey him. If you 'willingly' refuse to obey him and follow his moral commandments, then you will lose the life you have been graciously given.

Whereas trying to save yourself through works alone, is saying "I don't need Jesus, my own good works will pay off my sins", which isn't possible, it's recognising where the true payment lies, but also recognising there are conditions, and that by faith in Jesus, you can't just go about doing whatever you want, disobeying Christ and expect to be saved in the end.

As Jesus said "many will say Lord, Lord".

We are prone to failure of course, but so long as we "retain the effort" of our loyalty and faith to Christ, and by that, strive to obey his commands, and repent of our mistakes, we are saved.

Titus 2:14. We are not saved by good works, we are saved unto good works. EGW wrote "It is the righteousness of Christ that makes the penitent sinner acceptable to God and works his justification. However sinful has been his life, if he believes in Jesus as his personal Saviour, he stands before God in the spotless robes of Christ's imputed righteousness.

The sinner so recently dead in trespasses and sins is quickened by faith in Christ. He sees by faith that Jesus is his Saviour, and alive forevermore, able to save unto the uttermost all that come unto God by him." Signs Times.1892-July

Thank-you for your message. Regarding your comment that nobody objected to the "trinity" (or more accurately, the "duality") concept - there are those that might mention John 10: 23-38 in which the people said “We’re stoning you not for any good work, but for blasphemy! You, a mere man, claim to be God.”
Jesus's answer beautifully counters their accusation. "Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?"
May God bless your endeavor to spread this critical message.

Christ be with you
no this man not understood the Catholic Church's teaching
We are saved by the Grace of Jesus Christ
This saves us completely because it is the forgiveness of sin for it is sin that condemns us
*And this is the judgment, * that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, *because their deeds were evil.*
For every one who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, *lest his deeds should be exposed.* (John 3:19-20)

We are given this Grace not because of any thing we have done but despite we have done for we are sinners.
he saved us, *not because of deeds done by us in righteousness, but in virtue of his own mercy, * by the washing of regeneration and renewal in the Holy Spirit, (Titus 3:5)

Eternal life requires our works for in cooperation with God we must keep what has been washed and renewed clean by not returning to sin..
Yet you have still a few names in Sardis, *people who have not soiled their garments;* and they shall walk with me in white, for they are worthy.
He who conquers shall be clad thus in white garments, *and I will not blot his name out of the book of life;* I will confess his name before my Father and before his angels. (Rev 3:4-5)

St Paul tells us that we mock God if we think we have eternal life without Keeping the Law of Christ walking in the Spirit and doing good works.
Do not be deceived; *God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.*
For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; *but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.*
*And let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.* (Gal 6:7-9)

the Catholic Church teaches Christ truth.
Come to Christ
