Had something exactly like this happen to me recently. I’m very easy going and don’t have strict boundaries when it comes to relationships, I just expect my partner to treat me the way I’d treat her. However, I’ve been seeing someone who kept on making plans w me and then when it came time for those plans they didn’t happen. I explained to her listen I understand things happen so I’ll let it go this time and I forgot about it. Once again it happens and I explain to her I don’t appreciate the way she’s treating me. Once again it happens and this time I will no longer be putting effort into that relationship. Actions speak 1000x louder than words my guys….the proof is on the wall. Have enough respect for yourself and walk away if she can’t respect the things you’re telling her she’s doing that make you feel disrespected.

I failed to set boundaries at a very low point of my life. She disrespected me unrepentantly and when she was done, she told me, I just used you to get what I wanted.
