Question:
I need a laser for a disco ball-type effect like in Royal Match, I shouldn't use a post-processing effect for the glow. I also need a way to determine the Line Renderer color, ensuring it has different colors when a player chooses a specific color. Does anyone know or can provide a clue or link on how to achieve that?"

This is a pretty nice tutorial, but for me the textures don't work in an unlit 2d renderer. I followed all your directions, when importing I copy your settings and it presents a nice trimmed out laser beam image in the preview, and in the shader graph on the sample texture 2d node the image looks very similar to yours, but in the main preview window and when trying to use it for a material or linerender, nothing. Lit 2d renderer works quite well though, at least so far. I'm only up to changing the color gradient on the line renderer, so time will tell.

Thanks for this tutorial. I am having a bit of an issue. When I use noise strength of 0.1 it's causing my texture to offset slightly on the Y, meaning that the texture is slightly cut off at the top and slightly repeating at the bottom. Any idea what I did wrong? Thanks.

Thanks for the video! Could you help me with one trouble? I Tried to make a magic thunder orb. Thunderbolts should cast directly from the center in a random degree. thay shouldn't move.
In my situation I can'tmake such an effect anf no video helped me

I have a problem where if I use the 2d unlit shaders the texture is invisible. I have to use the 2d lit shader and without adding a color variable to it or the problem happens again

Any idea why this happens?

I recently upgraded from Unity 2019.x to 2020.x, and I've found that the lasers I created with this tutorial aren't working anymore after upgrading my project. Any idea why this would be? I have noticed that when trying to recreate the shader itself, I no longer see "2D Renderer" as an option under Create > Shader. Did something with this shader get removed in the 2020.x version of Unity?

Hi Binary Lunar im not an expert in raycast, how i can make the laser rotate? At this point only looks in vector2.right, could you give me a hand im lost :(

Anyone having issues when exporting out a PNG and it not working? I made sure to set it to alpha transparency to on in the texture settings. It makes an alpha turn but when I change the color on the line render the color isnt changing.

I really like your course as i'm a bigginner and your course among all of the others are the most brilliant with clear pathway, but 20mins' class needs actually more than 2 hours for me to pause or down speed to look what you really do! Wish you speed on bed are not like in your tutorial, so be slower,
