In 2019, we brought thirteen experts into our studios to debunk one-hundred health-related myths. They explain that dyeing your hair during pregnancy won’t harm your baby, crunches won’t give you a six pack, and eating cheese before bed doesn’t cause nightmares.

It may not be true that lying in bed is just as good as sleep. But I’m going to keep telling myself that because I’m more likely to fall asleep if I’m laying in bed with my eyes closed saying “This is fine, this is fine” than if I’m panicking about how it’s not.

The muscle weighs more than fat debunk is the dumbest thing I've heard in a while. So because a pound of one thing is the same as a pound of another then neither of those things are heavier than the other. Here's the problem. By that logic you can't say anything is heavier than anything else. Gold isnt heavier than helium because a pound of each both weigh the same. Thing is we're not talking about purely weight were talking about volume. A square inch of muscle weighs more than a square inch of fat. Therefore if you burn fat but gain muscle you may see your weight stay the same or increase even though your physically getting smaller.

I have a serious allergy to the substance PPD, used in darker hair dyes. Because I did not know I had this allergy, I began having my hair dyed by my stylist when I was almost 60 years old. I developed horrible eczema on my hands and feet, not on or near my scalp from the PPD. My doctor commented that this meant it entered my blood stream. I wonder if this happened to a pregnant woman if it could endanger the child.

"shelf stable bread" in my country lasts max 2 weeks, and i mean at the absolute max, usually its 1 week or even lower, i cant imagine what they pump into bread for it to last a month

- Unused muscles don't turn to fat
- Dont stretch too much for explosive exercise
- You can't target a spot for fat lose
- Dont do cardio for loosing fat
- Doing cardio reduces muscles in too much caloric deficit
- muscle is dencer the fat so you may see youre getting heavy
- Women don't look bulky, I love muscular women 👄
- Electrolytes for hydration, salt in water
- No need for protine right after workout
- You need time off for muscles
- 1 month not enough
- Just move and enjoy

46:40 This should have been directed at an MD, not a dietician. Going to bed on an empty stomach, or at least not eating less than 2 hours before bedtime, is something I've heard from many medical experts and the reasons include acid reflux, Barrett's esophagus, the food won't be used and will thus go directly to "storage", nausea in the morning, and so on.

Nobody claiming that muscle weighs more than fat states it the way that is named as a myth, but in the way with which the "expert" agrees. And the bit about mental health workers pushing medication has some basis; my daughter went to two specialists and they both pushed medication within the first few weeks. Found out that the first therapist was pushing a placebo. Now my daughter has a dim view of the entire field.

1:08:15 As the child of a horrible narcissistic piece of garbage, I can assure you that parents are not all too ready to take responsibility for their children. Some are willing to take responsibility for their actions, but just as many aren't. Making such a blanket statement is incredibly foolish. Abusive people in a child's life most certainly can mental illness.
