Btw you can do Trebizond=>Georgia=>Byzantium, trebizond/georgia have a lot of common points in their mission trees and you can cumulate a lot of permanent modifiers, 70% Perma CCR byzantium is easy to achieve that way.

Something weird I’ve seen, as Bohemia with their new missions you can complete one called “The Golden City” where if you expand infrastructure you get 1, 1, 1 dev and you can just put that up for 50 adm power, reduce it again for free and the dev doesn’t go down so I have a 200 dev city in 1480

weird things happen: had genoa take byzantium and then somehow release the latin empire in constantinople in 1460. immediately got conquered by the ottomans

Aragon went Republic, and the Castille was never able to form Spain. Burgundy existed in my game in 1758, only missing the Low Countries and 1 province, and then France never took the rest. Commonwealth PU'd Hungary and not Austria.

Trebizond was always very interesting, but sadly they were a little to hard for me, since they have little room to expand. Atleast you found a way to make it work. When you do another part of this, forming Byzantium should be the main goal. Cute cat by the way. 😄

1.37 is the first time I played Austria after 5 failed attempts at Burgundy not rivalling the right nations as Holland and now I have a PU with Russia randomly and a Latin Empire subject, but Burgundy was still stubborn refusing to be subjugated and becoming a faithful ally of the HRE as a shield of Lorraine

Eastern Europe's been really whack in 1.37 - I just had a game as Novgorod-Russia, and within a few decades, Poland got the Lithuania personal union, Lithuania declared independence with help from the Bohemians and Mamluks, Bohemia and Lithuania took massive chunks out of Poland, the Teutons migrated to Pommerania - and to end it off Poland managed to make a come back, taking a bunch of land back from the Lithuanians
