Dumbo - Casey Jr. Scenes HD

The first two major Casey Junior scenes from Dumbo, now in HD and with better transitioning audio than I've seen on youtube before. Ideally I wanted to mesh Casey's theme and it's reprise at night together since no one else did it especially well, and I figured I might as well join the videos together too. Enjoy.

I always had a facination with trains. I think Casey Jr. is a underrated Disney character.

I was this day old when I learned that Casey Jr. was voiced by a woman using a sonovox recorder (which looks like two microphone-shaped defib pads that she held up to both sides of her throat like a smoker’s voicebox)

I´ve never realized how accurate Disney was about Casey Jr. being a steam engine:


You can actual see how his firebox gets hoter and hoter, when he climbs the hill (02:23) and with every stroke of his piston you can see the smoke exaust through the exauster and his chimney and see the fire glow in rythm (02:39)

You can even make up the point when the enginer is closing the regulator at 02:50 and the exaust is nearly
These people knew their steam engines!

Casey Jr is my all time favorite train, I wish Disney company sell the train in this design more then others

No matter what Tim Burton does nothing will outlast the original! Also Casey Jr's theme is so catchy I can't get it out my head
