Casey Jr is such an underrated character. Of course, I probably have a soft spot for him just because I love trains. Ah well, he's still amazing.

Casey Junior/Casey Jones Junior decided to chant “I think I can, ” and “I thought I could, ” over the big hill mountain when he decided to go reach the Joplin, Missouri town.

He's a lovable locomotive. Me being one who loved trains my whole life, he was my favorite character in Dumbo, even if he didn't appear a lot. Gotta love that steamer!

Casey Jr. also appeared in a video game called Mickey's Racing Adventure, used to take you to and from the racetracks. There's also a little game where you have to arrange the tracks so that Casey Jr. can get to his destination without crashing.

One crazy fact, is that the last surviving locomotive that Casey Jones used, Illinois Central 201 is a 2-4-0, just like Casey Junior, which means that he is somewhat real

Note that the semaphore signal changes from "stop" to "all clear" once Casey Junior approaches it. Very realistic

There’s just something about Casey Jr that makes me like about him. Yeah I like trains but I just really like the train character. It’s a long shot but I would love it to make a cameo in kingdom hearts.

I wonder why Casey Jr is very underrated in films. And I’m not talking about the Disney Parks. Y’all can yap about that forever but someone tell me, why in the hell on Earth does Casey Jr get like 2 mins of screen time in this damn movie? He should’ve been included in more scenes. Tbh, I prefer the 1941 version of Casey, not the one Tim Burton made. That version is creepy asf

This is going to sound super over-analytical here but here’s my Casey Jr backstory. He originally started life as a commuter 2-4-0 built for short to medium distance trains but after an accident after a bridge collapsed he was withdrawn and was later bought by the ringmaster to pull his circus where he was fitted with more modern parts. Specifically a higher pressure superheated boiler with a larger firebox to accommodate this, a tender with a slightly larger coal and water capacity. His whistle had suffered damage from the accident but it still “worked” enough to be satisfactory but only 3 of the original 5 notes played.
