"Who needs tactics when you have the power of friendship"

Ancelotti does in fact manage. He sets up the team defensively and certain patterns, but the attackers are free to express themselves creatively. If the attackers are the painters, Carlo allows them to paint a masterpiece.

ancelotti's tactics: raises eyebrow at 89th minute

I wish this 'no tactics' thing will

He is a superb tactician. One of the best the game has every seen. Look at how he played Pirlo as a regista. Or how he played Di Maria as a number 8 in 2014. Or how he utilised Toni Kroos last season. Or even how he uses Fede

He's a tactical genius. People saying he doesn't have tactics when they couldn't even explain the strategy of noughts and crosses.

Carlo manages to do things that managers can’t even manage to manage but when Carlo manages to manage things other managers can’t manage to manage he still isn’t considered the best manager I can’t even manage to think that

A great leader always adapts to their surroundings. That's what made Carlo great.

I think this quote hits the nail:

"Ancelotti understands that outstanding players create outstanding solutions."

Don Carlo is a master of man management
Never heard any of his former player say something bad about him and this is his biggest strength

Buy his book. It's much more than football, it's mostly man management, leadership and discovering people's talent they didn't even know they had in themselves. Plus the cover makes a statement on your bookshelf.

crazy how he made mbape from someone who tried to do all the work by himself to someone who coordinates with the team to create chances for himself and others. Even without the ball he attracts defenders and create spaces for his team. At this rate he might become more scary than the mbape we know from psg. And bournemouth's adaptive football is even crazier than real's this season.

Even in his latest podcast he repeated 3 times "I am good tactically as well" but It looks like people are never gonna mention it and just keep talking about his man management

Ancelotti is an innovator (Pirlo, Kaka, Bellingham) but is also unafraid to reinvent the wheel to win.

Pep, Jose, Sir Alex all deserve the praise.. but Don Carlo needs to be mentioned more as one of the Mount Rushmore of managers.

As a teacher, this was beautiful to see.
There is a lot to learn from this man. I'ma look up if he ever wrote a book.
Stay safe man. You have a great channel. This has been my favorite video of yours so far.

Already as a player, he showed greatness. Not enough to be a star but enough to be decisive.
As a coach, even better. I remember when he went to PSG, I was shocked to hear him speak French during his first interview because he never lived in France before. He knows how to adapt to everybody and I fee like PSG would have been much better if Carlo had stayed (as a OM fan, I'm happy he didn't).

As a Die Hard Inter fan and going through so many battles with his Milan team, I have to say that Carlo is the best Manager in the world by far. Won in every Country and 5 Champions Leagues. Insane
