I've seen way lesser toys cost $40, so I think this is definitely worth the price. Not as just a uv lamp, but the whole thing with two projects and the mini kitchen. If you get this first and then collect the separate surprises, you can use the oven with all of them. These are so super cute! I think just the happy smile on those strawberries, and the little tooth of that blueberry are worth a few dollars. Also, you can put the finished projects in the cupboard with the window. And, for the donut: You could have poured the cereal in the bowl, and used the little tweezers to put them on the donuts, and maybe harden the glazing midway to not make it drip.
The lighting in the back counter photos was better than on the actual counter, so it was a fun addition to this.

As a doll collector, watching Jackie trying to open this, I am definitely cracking up. MGM dolls are especially annoying to try to open 😂

quick tip for faster moving resin in these kits... warm it up! either place it (COMPLETELY SEALED) in a dish of warm water for a few minutes, or simply hold it in your hands for a few minutes. do not let water come in contact with the resin.. but the warmth will definitely make it flow a lot faster! worked for my make it minis!

To be fair, each mystery ball is like $16-$20, with this being $40, you get two recipes, a cute kitchen/display, and a working UV light...I think that is totally worth it. If you didn't get any of the foods, then I could see it not being worth it, but you got a working kitchen and two recipes,

I think they now need to make a fridge in the same style and make the freezer a uv lamp too because not all crafts need to go in the oven so if it's a "cold" item it could go in the freezer

1. I LOVE your Cash/Trash stuff. I love that you show me, as an adult, what the craft it is. How durable, how usable, what level of skill is needed. Dear YOUTUBE!!! Children might make demands, but ADULTS are responsible for making sure the kids are getting quality things. NerdECrafter is telling US WALLET HOLDERS what the quality and play ability. So, many of her recommendations helped me buy quality gifts for the kids in my life. She's saved me from spending money on things that aren't fun. Making me... and WONDERFUL AUNTIE!

If these are projects you really enjoy and want something fun to make them with then it's worth it. For me if you are routinely spending $15 on the craft kits then spending $40 on the kitchen isn't really a crazy amount.

Keep in mind the price that you would pay for the two projects of they were in ball form. That is easily $15 of the price, so the kitchen itself is $25, which is definitely worth it in my opinion.

The bowl is to make cereal with the glaze for the donut. It was enough for both.

The price was $40 but it did come with $20 worth of mini’s so the kitchen itself was $20. So it’s not really that bad.

I keep the bottom yellow and the top pink. I also took the packaging and some foam boards and make an entire mini kitchen to display all my mini foods from mini brands, wacky packages, and mini verse. It took a few days to make but it was so worth it. Even has a working lamp that I can plug in.
