Radical prostatectomy is an operation to remove the prostate gland to cure prostate cancer in men. The total recovery time is 3 to 4 weeks.

Get plenty of rest, and do some light exercise, such as walking, every day.
Increase your exercise schedule gradually thereafter.

Daily sponge or bed bath is allowed. Showers are permitted within two or three days.

Heavy abdominal exercise such as sit-ups and cycling should be avoided for six weeks.

Patient can resume a normal routine, with minor restrictions, in about four to six weeks.

No strenuous activity or heavy lifting for at least one month after surgery.

Office work can be resumed after three to four weeks.

Full recovery of urinary control can take up to a year after surgery.

Sexual activity for me has taken 4 years not 18 months. Why are doctors not putting patients on Butea Superba as therapy for ED after surgery. After all surgery stuffs up all hope of a normal sexual activity which causes partners to look for sex elsewhere.

Take advice from your clinical team rather than from this video. Recovery is rarely as quick and as complete as this suggests.

Lol to all of that i have had an rp and life is never the same and never will be and it is not a cure trust me. I have just had radiation the cancer came back in less than 3 years.
