Gemma Connell, Gaza team leader for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), should be doing a much better job . For months she has lacked insight into the crisis of much need emigration out of Gaza for innocent non- Hamas supporting Gazans who have no place to flee. From Oct7th she should have surmised that most countries would not immediately trust or take in these civilians until they could demonstrate a lack of allegiance to Hamas. Barges are very large and could get innocent lives out of the area. While on the barge, families could be investigated to determine appropriate placement in host countries or to Iran if they were found to have allegiance with Hamas. War is ugly, especially for terrorists groups that use innocent lives as shields. UN do your job and stop whining.
