Harris Says Two-State Solution Is Only Path Forward

US Vice President Kamala Harris says she pressed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept a cease-fire and warned him about the civilian death toll in Gaza during a meeting - their first since she entered the 2024 race for the White House. “As I just told Prime Minister Netanyahu, it is time to get this deal done,” Harris said on Thursday, adding that she had made clear her "serious concern about the dire humanitarian situation.”

Odd that a 2 state solution is such a mantra. I remember when Germany was split into two pieces, controlled by the US and Russia, for war-time atrocities. Why shouldn't the same thing be done with those territories, divide the Gaza into two states, east and west, instead of trying to divide Israel among them. There's an old curse on dividing that land of Israel's. From the same source as the curses put on Egypt.
