The T-14 Armata Main Battle Tank has a 125mm Main Gun with a maximum weight of 65 tons. Work from other Projects such as Object 195 & T-95 Black Eagle are incorporated in the T-14 Armata MBT's design. :-) 
The 2A82 125mm Main Gun & other weapons will be remotely controlled by crews located in separate compartment. :->
The separate compartment is made from composite materials & protected by multi-layered armour which is also isolated from the engines. :-]
K-Band AESA Radar will be mounted which will allow the MBT to conduct offensive operations in harsh & adverse conditions. :-}
The T-14 Armata MBT will be equipped with the new Afganit Active Protection System. :-)
Future development maybe unmanned autonomous in nature. :->
Unit cost is about RUB 400 million (USD 6.5 million). :-]

One would have thought the rotary gun would have been free swivelling and not fixed in the same direction as the turret points.

This is not a tank T-14. This is one of the projects "assault tank" on the basis of its chassis.

That thing is a MONSTER! Just look at it! it's a fortress on wheels. certainly looks like its a heavy tank model not our traditional small, but very reliable medium tank types. then again when youre a country everyone wants a piece of you need some big guns to defend as well

How are rounds being fed to the auto cannon and MG?

I wonder if you would shoot a rocket or shell in the gap between the tower and the hull, would the tank just pop open? Merkawa seems to have the same design flaw, though I think they have thought that... or have they just make the armor angle as narrow as possible in expence of one weak spot.

Is the 125mm main gun like a self propelled howitzer cannon? Whats the rest of the spec's? It does look like a Merkava turret, but did not see the rear bulk head hatch for carrying 6 soldiers in the rear compartment. The Russian Terminator Mk1 tank had good infantry killing defenses like twin bow mounted 35mm grenade HMG with 300 round magazines what does this one have?Looks like its set for antiaircraft defense but what about sneaky enemy infantry? I don't knock any ones new design concepts as the weak link in a tank is getting smaller with new inventions. But with Trophy systems and new stealth armor maybe the Tracks is the next best target?
