The arduous process of identifying the remains of 9/11 victims has been going on for almost a quarter of a century and continues today, honoring the nation's promise to "never forget."

"60 Minutes" is the most successful television broadcast in history. Offering hard-hitting investigative reports, interviews, feature segments and profiles of people in the news, the broadcast began in 1968 and is still a hit, over 50 seasons later, regularly making Nielsen's Top 10.

I still remember that day with a shudder. The smoke billowing out for months, the acrid smell on Wall Street the following week.. it all comes back...

Why dont we address the motive behind 9/11 and what we should do instead of breaking international law?

Thank you to all those still working on identifying the deceased. I can't imagine how tedeous it is but no doubt worth giving closure to those families. My son worked in building 2 but sensed bad thngs were happening and left just before the plane hit. We didn't hear from him all day due to no cell service and other factors and we beside ourselves until getting his call later that night.

They are still trying to find remains from the pentagon also. My uncle’s coworker is one of five never identified.

YOU NEVER SAID GOODBYE 9/11 & WHY!!
You never said I’m leaving
You never said goodbye.
You were gone before I knew it
And by terrorism I know why.

In life I loved you completely
In death I love you still.
I hold a place in my heart
That only you can fill.

It broke my heart to lose you
But I know you’re not alone.
A part of me left with you
As the seeds of war were sown.

Heartfelt indeed. A reminder for those who didn’t know their promise is still being kept. Just like the unknown soldiers of the war!

Tuesday, September 11th 2001. I turned 19 years old 26 days later. I will "NEVER FORGET" That day. I was in the Chicagoland area that day. Same weather as N.Y. Not a cloud in the sky nice day. Then no plane or helicopters in te sky except for fighter jets and military aircraft probably life flight was running. It's quiet and weird with no commercial-private jets.👍🏻🇺🇲

Has the coroner made the jewelry recovered available to the families to see and have the family bring photos and video to have their case heard and returned

1st girlfriends dad was on flight 11 (first plane), she said they got his torso back white in a couple months. She said his body wasn’t burned at all just bruised. Not sure how someone’s torso doesn’t burn up when you’re in a jetliner that explodes and burns for a few hours before being buried under a building. Always makes me think 🤔

Has any airplane wreckage been recovered from any of the 911 crash cites? No media coverage of the airplane parts recovery. I’ve heard that the NTSB is quite meticulous about reconstructing plane wreckage. Shanksville, Pa should have been a good place for reconstruction.

This is very sad, a horrific atrocity. But if the US ceased bombing the rest of the world this would never have happened.
