How to Adjust HDR on PS5 for Best COLORS on 4k TV & Monitors (Easy Tutorial)

Do you want to know how to Setup HDR on PS5 for Better Colors on Monitors & TVs. This is very easy to do. For better colors go to settings on your PS5, then scroll down to sound and screen. Then go to adjust HDR and calibrate the high dynamic range. You will have 3 screens and you have to make the icon in the box lighter or brighter. Also, if you go to HDR, make sure to have it set to "on when supported" if you are going to be playing PS4 games that don't support HDR otherwise you will have colors that are off, wrong, too dark, too bright etc... Also, make sure to adjust the HDR settings in games like warzone.

You are very wrong about changing hdr to when supported because some games on ps4 that don't have hdr look so much better with the always on hdr. For example modern warfare remastered or infinite warfare and just about every other ps4 pro enhanced game thar didn't ship with hdr. I got them on a external drive connected to ps5.

For me enabling HDR on my Samsung Odyssey G7 simply washes out colors and makes them bland.

Seems like with hdr on it’s just too dark. Also the adjustments to HDR on the last update seem to have effected it.

Some games allow you to adjust HDR/Brightness in the options menu. So should you adjust both in PS5 internal setting and also in the game settings OR should you leave game HDR settings as default and only adjust the PS5 internal settings? Please help!

I only have a 100HZ Capable TV so I'm stuck at 60fps (I can't play 120fps on some games). Is 60 fps-4K still good compared to 120fps-1080p?

Hy guys! I have a 4K 60hz Samsung TV and i want to play all time at 4k 60 fps ( if the game is not locked for 30fps) . So in the Video Output - Resolution be automatic or 2160p ?? and the Game presets - Performace mode or Resolition mode??? So i want to play always 4k 60fps how to i set my PS5 settings? Thx

Wrong. You should go as far as not seeing the image at all. This tells your TV how bright or how dark it can go. If you follow the ps5 instructions you'll get dim whites and not the darkest blacks.

im using sony x900h and the hdr makes ps5 a lot darker than it should be, infact ps4 pro looked better! when I turn off hdr it looks better??? help
